Could it be true, that men like it too?

Q: For years my husband has been requesting me to stimulate his nipples during lovemaking. Is this normal for a guy?

A: The breasts and nipples are clearly considered erogenous zones for both women and men. These sensitive areas of the body begin to play an important role in the early phases of body self-awareness as women and men explore and discover their own individual sexuality. The role of nipple and breast stimulation in influencing sexual arousal in men and women during lovemaking has only recently been the subject of scientific study.

Drs. Roy Levin and Cindy Meston from the University of Texas surveyed 300 young women and men to better understand the topic.

It may surprise you that 52 percent of the men reported that nipple stimulation increased their arousal. Only a very small number of men were actually turned off by attention to their nipples.

There are no sex formulas that work for everyone or even the same way at two different times for the same person. At one moment breast cuddling may turn your partner on, and the contact may register over-stimulation and become a turnoff. Being aware of your lover’s needs at any given moment is the key to being a sensitive lover. You can rely on your intuition or listening to your partner’s positive feedback that you are stimulating the right place at the right time. But don’t hesitate to speak with your partner to better understand exactly whether touching a body part is hot or not.
